-Setsubun LoveLove Challenge-

- Setsubun is the day before the beginning of each season, although it's
usually refered to as the spring Setsubun to mark the beginning of it. During
this time, a cleansing ritual is performed to drive away bad spirits, with
roasted soybeans either thrown out the door or at a family member dressed in
an Oni (demon mask). It's usually celebrated on the Third of February, and
even though that's a few months away, it should be interesting to see how our
favorite pairing would react during this time.
 
- From the 1st of December to the 21st of December, we are hosting this
challenge to all who are interested.
 
- There are three categories: "Best One-shot", "Best Songfic", and "Best
Multi-chapter" (doesn't have to epic)
The winners of these categories will win a fanart based on their piece
created by Alexis1985. These winners will be announced on Christmas Day and
the rewards presented that same evening.
 
- There will also be one honorable mention for each category, for which the
author mentioned can make a request for a fic in the category that they were
mentioned in.
 
- Our judges for this challenge are Jitsu-Jitsu-Jitsu and Brighit R. Gauthier (ab_jaded).
As they normally don't write Shunsui/Nanao (at least in English) they are perfect for judging fics submitted.
Now, onto the rules!
 

Guidelines
 

-Must be Shunsui/Nanao. (I think this is a given, but I suppose it can be
anti if you wish.)

-Each fic must have a minimum of 1000 words (As a side note, if constructing
a songfic, try to have more fic than song.)

-Please put somewhere in the credits or summary that the fic is for the
challenge. This will make it easier for us and our judges to find them. You
can shorten it if you wish (SLLC or LoveLove C. or whatever).

-Each fic must only be within one category, so for example, if you do a
songfic that's in three parts, specify which category you'd like it to go in.

-You can enter as many fics as you want. The goal here is to increase
Shunsui/Nanao flow, really.

-You must find some use for the ritual "Oni wa soto! Fuku wa uchi!" ("Demons
out! Luck in!")

-There must be beans in your story. You can cook them, throw them, burn them,
or do whatever you like with them, so long as they're there.

-Try to research the event if you'd like more information. Wikipedia has a
pretty decent page on Setsubun.

As said before, the deadline for fics is the 21st of December. All fics
posted after that (unless you PM a request for a very good reason) will not be
considered for judging.
